Dear EPSA Friends,
For our events to be successful, EPSA requires input from all of you. Therefore we try to do our best to give the opportunity to everyone interested to attend an EPSA event. This is the reason why the EPSA Support Fund was created.
What is the EPSA Support Fund?
According to our Regulations, the members who cannot otherwise attend the congress can apply for a grant from the Support Fund. Members seeking support should complete the application form (you can download from here) providing EPSA with the following required information (all mandatory):
1. Personal information
2. Participation status during the 35th EPSA Annual Congress
3. Motivation letter
4. Support letter from your student's association (written by the President)
5. Support letter from your faculty (written by the Dean)
How can you apply?
1. Register for the 35th Annual Congress.
2. Send your Application Form together with the Recommendation Letters from the Dean and from the President of National/Local students' association (signed by them) by email to Charlene Galea, EPSA Vice President of Public Relations (vp.pr@epsa-online.org). Deadline: 19th February 2012.
3. Pay the registration fee for the 35th EPSA Annual Congress.
4. Come to Istanbul for the 35th EPSA Annual Congress :)
5. Attend all sessions and fulfill all tasks required by the EPSA Executive.
6. Receive your money during Gala Night or after the congress by bank transfer!
Please note that:
The amount given will only cover the event fee partially. If the applicant receives a partial coverage of the fee, he/she must pay the rest of the fee to the Reception Committee of the event.
Applications must be sent on time. Pay special attention to the deadlines below, because applications received after the deadline will not be considered.
Unfortunately, EPSA Support Fund is limited. Certain criteria will be used to select the most entitled persons to receive the Support Fund grant.
EPSA Support Fund grant cannot be used to cover traveling expenses.
The Executive can assign tasks to participants who have received the EPSA Support Fund. These tasks shall be EPSA related and have to be completed by the participants. Refuse of these tasks disables the member to apply for another Support Fund grant.
EPSA Support Fund receivers must have high attendance at workshops and lectures during the event.
The application form must be send to EPSA till Sunday 19th February 2012.
You'll need to fill it in properly and send it to Charlene Galea (Vice President of Public Relations), by e-mail at vp.pr@epsa-online.org. In the subject of the e-mail please specify: "EPSA Support Fund".
Deadlines for the Support Fund:
19th February 2012 – the last day for sending the application form for the EPSA Support Fund. No late applications will be accepted.
28th February 2012 - announcement of the grant receivers.
What happens if you don't receive the money, but you have ALREADY registered for the Annual Congress?
The candidates, who applied for the Support Fund and didn't receive the grant, can still apply and attend the event as long as they pay the full fee.
